Freshly landed Monkfish filleted, trimmed and cut into portions approx 200g each. Monkfish is a great 'meaty' fish that lends itself to a variety of cooking styles. Great in a curry or with the vibrant flavours of the Mediterranean.
Fished from the cold deep waters of the North Sea. Once used as poor man’s scampi, Monkfish now sits at the top of the pile as a true gourmets choice. Firm and meaty, Monkfish can be treated like a joint of meat, especially when roasted on the bone. Works well with Asian flavours and robust sauces.
